Aimee Ryerson, Founder and CEO, built HRVIST to bring together a vision and passion of collaboration, culture and a people-first mentality.
As an experienced Human Resources, People Innovations and Talent Acquisition professional – her role at HRVIST is to partner with companies who are seeking a guide in getting connected with the best talent and creating an internal culture that not only thrives, but is scalable. In addition to her primary job functions, she is skilled in workplace design, employer branding, and business development.
She started her career over a decade ago in Talent Acquisition, focused on aerospace, technology and creative recruitment. She then moved into a leadership role as Vice President, Creative/Digital Recruitment, and led, alongside the Managing Partner, a retained recruitment model, adding in the value of HR consultancy to early stage start-up clients.
After years in the recruitment industry, she took an internal leadership role at a growing digital media company as their first member of the Human Resources department. In three years time, she grew headcount from 40 to 180, designed and moved the company to a new office, and successfully launched new business units from the ground up. Focusing on all aspects of Human Resources, Aimee was able to implement the People Operations infrastructure needed for the company to scale. In 2018, the company was nominated, alongside Buzzfeed and Vox Media, for Most Innovative Culture- Publisher, by Digiday Worklife Awards.
On her personal time, you can catch Aimee photographing classic cars, spending time with her two dogs, and indulging in LA’s coffee shop culture.
